Sono appena rientrato da un soggiorno di una settimana al Palais des Iles a Djerba - Tunisia da 18/08 a 25/08.
Cosa posso dire, l'intero soggiorno sembrava surreale; noi, la mia ragazza e io, eravamo destinati a stare in un hotel internazionale a quattro stelle.
Vorrei cercare di riassumere i punti chiave.
Personale maleducato sia a reception che nei ristoranti.
Scarsa igiene nelle camere, corridoi, aree di cibo, piscina e spiaggia (praticamente ovunque).
Inesistenti servizi di base come telecomando per la tv in camera.
I cani randagi nel beach resort minacciando clienti per gli alimenti.
Mancanza di una base di sicurezzacome corridoi illuminati (di notte) .
Completa mancanza di prevenzione con balaustre adeguate su tutti i piani sia in camera (60 cm) e nel corridoio non illuminato (50 cm).
Cavi elettrici sparsi nella maggior parte dei posti sia all'interno che all'esterno, in alcuni casi con fili scoperti.
Non un solo estintore che non avesse superato la data di scadenza.
Estorsione internet, costa € 180 per ora !!!
La nostra camera inondata tre volte (ripeto tre) da un condizionatore d'aria che non aveva alcun sistema di drenaggio della condensa.
E per di più siamo stati ricattati dal nostro assistente di viaggio (InViaggi) e il direttore ha tentato di corromperci quando abbiamo chiesto di cambiare albergo.

Io personalmente non crederei a quest'ultimo punto, se qualcuno me lo avesse raccontato senza possedere la documentazione filmata dei crimini commessi - come abbiamo fatto noi.

I have recently returned from a one week stay at Palais des Iles in Djerba - Tunisia from 18/08 to 25/08. What can I say, the entire stay seemed surreal; we, my girlfriend and I, were meant to be staying in an international four-star hotel.
Let me try to summarize the key points that we were subject to.
Ill-mannered staff at both reception and in food areas
Poor hygiene in rooms, corridors, food areas, swimming pool & beach (practically everywhere)
Inexistent basic amenities such as remote control for tv in the room
Stray dogs roaming beach resort threatening guests for food
Basic common sense safety such as illuminated corridors (at night)
Complete lack of prevention of adequate balustrades on all floors in both room (60cm) and in unlit corridor (50cm)
Electrical cables strewn in most places both indoor and outdoor in some cases with bare wires
Not a single fire extinguisher that had not passed its expiry date
Extorting internet costs €180 per hour!!!
Our room flooding three times (I repeat three) from an air conditioning unit that had no drainage system for condensation besides a large pizza tray slid into the false ceiling that fills with an aggravating dripping that needs to be emptied every other day to prevent the water overspilling into the room
And what’s more we were blackmailed by our travel assistant (InViaggi) and the hotel manager attempted to bribe us when we asked to change hotel.

I personally wouldn’t believe that last point if someone had told me and they didn’t possess filmed documentation of the crimes being committed - as we did.
